Eileen Elizabeth Malack peacefully passed away on July 5, 2016 in the presence of her loving family. Eileen grew up in College Point, New York, graduated  from St. Agnes Academic Academy, studied at Bernard college and worked in Manhattan.   She met her future husband John on a blind date and they married in 1963.  Together they enjoyed a lifetime of outdoor activities just as they first met.  Free time was filled with hiking, fishing, clamming and crabbing, biking, cross country skiing and gardening.  They moved to  Endicott in 1967,  raised two children and continued to make summertime trips to Long Island to their favorite beaches.
Eileen loved to cook, try new recipes and could successfully mimic her favorite dishes from local restaurants.   She looked forward to socializing with friends, playing canasta,  meeting with the ladies 'new comers' group (for the past 30 years!), and exercising with the gang at the Endicott Boys and Girls Club where she belonged for over 45 years.  She had green thumb and has a garden of colorful blooms spring, summer and fall.  She enjoyed traveling, camping, kayaking and watching her kids and grandkids doing what they love in sport with swimming, basketball, baseball, softball, cheering, lacrosse, soccer and with performances on center stage through acting and song.
She is survived John, her husband of 52 years,  son Steven Malack,  daughter and son-in-law Christina and Bill McCloe,  grandchildren Katherine, Raymond, Nicole, Julia and Kelly, great-granddaughter Sophia, and two loyal weimaraners Lola and Piper.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11:00 am,  at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church,  701 W. Main Street, Endicott, NY.
