Jim and I go back to high school and college days. Many good times were had together. Shannon spent time with my family and I when she was with Jim and we had some great times on our family farm. I was sorry to hear of his passing yesterday and my sympathy is extended to his daughter, Shannon. Focus on the good times that we had together. Memories help keep us going and we made many good ones.

Jim was a wonderful sensitive man and helped me so much through a difficult time. He had such common sense and a way to communicate so clearly to make me see from other viewpoints. I didn't know him as anyone other than a counselor, but, as a counselor I loved him and grew so much from his advice. He made a difference in my life and I'm sure many others. My condolences to the family.

Jim could be absolutely outrageous on and off the stage. He taught me to laugh again at a time when my life was difficult. Deepest condolences to his daughter Shannon and his family

Thank you for your message, Anne. I was searching to reconnect with my father when I found the obituary. I was so young the last time I saw him, but your name seems very familiar. I’m glad to know that he made a positive impact on your life. Thank you again for sharing.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I knew him through my father. They had been very close for a number of years. Even though he wasn’t related to me, he will always be Uncle Jim, I hope his soul is at peace

The small obituary didn't capture the essence of Jim. He was a warm, creative, energetic individual. I enjoyed meeting and working with Jim when he was a force in the Financial Aid department at BCC. My condolences to the family - daughter - Shannon. Maureen Miner

Thank you for your message. I had not been in touch with my father for a very long time and was searching to reconnect when I found the obituary. I very much appreciate your kind words.
