Rodney R. " Blinkin " Blandford Jr.

Rodney R. “Blinkin” Blandford, Jr. was born to Robin (predeceased) and Rodney Blandford, Sr. on November 28, 1973.  He unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2016. He graduated from EBI with a Medical Assistant degree and went to work for UHS.  Most recently, he took a position at Lourdes Hospital and was so proud to be part of the Lourdes Hospital family.

Rodney played football for the TC Jets and enjoyed many other sports activities.  He loved boating, camping and was an avid movie watcher.  He loved to cook, listen to music but most of all Blinkin loved spending time with his girls, family and friends.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory two daughters, Aaliyah (13) and Alana (11); their mother Chrystal; his father Rodney Sr. ; three brothers, Robert (Chipper), Justin and Nicholas; three sisters, Renee, Sierra and Shanel; many Aunts, Uncles; his favorite niece Desirea and many other nieces, nephews and cousins in Binghamton and Elmira, extended family, a cherished friend Allegra and a host of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 23, 2016 at the New Fellowship Church 1600 Tracey St. Endicott  NY. Calling hours will begin at 1:00pm with a Memorial Service starting at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a fund being set up for Rodney's chidren.
