Anna (Charpinsky) Maciak, 96, of Binghamton entered Heaven on July 21,2022. She was a most loving, caring and especially devoted mother raising eight children with her predeceased husband, Peter Maciak. She was also predeceased by; sons, David and Mark husband of Charlene(Springer); granddaughter Lisa Marie; her parents, Charles and Mary (Blanda) Charpinsky; brothers, Andrew and Mike; sisters, Helen Slofkosky, Mary Ketchek and Margaret Archie; and son-in-law John DeLamarter husband of Theresa. Anna is survived by; her sons, Gary (Jane) Texas, Daniel (Sandy) Vestal, NY, Michael (Sophie) and John all of Binghamton, NY; daughters, Kathleen Baltic, Binghamton, NY, and Theresa DeLamarter, Johnson City, NY.
Anna was a diligent employee of Endicott Johnson, MacIntosh labs and Binghamton Social Services as a child caretaker. Her last years have been enjoying a large family including her 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, even while suffering dementia. The Maciak family expresses much deserved appreciation to Anna’s daughter Kathleen and children for their continuous in-home care giving needed during the last difficult years. Anna will be blessed with a Private Mass at Sts. John and Andrew Church in Binghamton, NY with Msgr. Meagher officiating. She will be laid to rest in the family plot at Calvary Cemetery.
