Benji Li Todd Vandermark

Benji Li Todd Vandermark passed away unexpectedly on April 8th 2023. Benji - born March 7th 2022 is survived by ; and will be indescribably missed by his mother Kari Vandermark of Binghamton and father Mykle Branch of NYC. Great Grandmother- Sherry Vandermark, Uncle Khristian Lewis, Aunt Lily Vandermark all of Binghamton. Benji is also survived by his Godmother Jalisa Robinson, Aunt Amisha Cooper, Uncle Key’mahni Robinson, and various other Great Aunts, Great Uncles and cousins.  Benji is predeceased by his maternal  grandfather Todd Vandermark, great great grandparents Lester and Madalyn Vandermark and  his Paternal great grandmother Betty Lou Phillips his and aunt Antonia Phillips alongside many other family members. 

He lived happily with his mother, great grandmother, aunt and uncle.  He was a happy baby boy who loved to laugh and play. Benji had grabby little hands. He loved food and whenever he saw someone eating he went straight for their plate no matter what was on it. He was so full of love. He spent the majority of his days giving out hugs and kisses when he wasn’t playing or eating. Though his life was short lived here on earth it was beautiful. He impacted everyone who got a chance to be around him just with his smile alone. 

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.  

Little Did We Know :

Little did we know that morning that God would

call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went

with you the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories,

your love is still our guide. And though we cannot see you, you are

always on our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
