Donald M. Wood

Donald Morgan Wood, 83, of Endwell, beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024. He was a kind soul and a vibrant light in our lives that will never be extinguished. Don was predeceased by; his wife, Bonnie Wood (Hobart); parents, Harold Wood and Laura Wood (Hover); brothers; Harold "Bud" Wood, Charles Wood and Edward Wood; his stepchildren, Robert and Nancy Lynn. He is survived by; his sister, Charlotte Pond (Wood); brother, Raymond Wood; sister-in-law, Suzanne Wood (Smith), nieces and nephew/Caregivers, Christy Tyler, Maryann Tyler and James Wood and generations of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Don was loved by many and was well known for his gentle demeanor, "storytelling", and love of a good meal. He had multiple courageous battles with cancer without complaint and fought until his last breath at the Mercy House, which we were very thankful for their support. Don lived happily in his final years at Marion Apts with his best friend/cat, Mr. Bobtail Kitty. He will be truly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 6pm Thursday June 20, 2024 at Savage-DeMarco Funeral Service 338-344 Conklin Ave Binghamton, NY 13903.
