Edward “Eddie” Crampton, 68 of Windsor fell asleep among nature on a cold December day and woke up in sunny paradise with the Lord. He was found on March 19, 2025. Eddie grew up on the East side of Binghamton and attended North High. After school he’d be slinging pizzas at Cortese. He was an avid speed skater back in the day and would run the table in a game of pool. He was Frank Sinatra’s biggest fan. He moved to California after high school but returned to town for a family funeral when he met the love of his life, Fernata. Though they’ve been apart for many years, he always said she was the only woman for him. Together they had a daughter, Taylor, his pride and joy, who now resides in Virginia Beach with her husband and daughter Charlotte. Eddie owned a popular bar on Court Street in the 90’s, his daughter’s namesake “Taylor’s Place”. He was predeceased by his father Frank, brothers Vernie and Billy and mother Betty. Be kind always. If you see someone in need, override your doubt and turn around to help them. You may just save a life. And never be so humble that you cannot afford the luxury of asking for help.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Express condolences at www.SavageFS.com. If you’d like to make a donation in his memory, please consider The Salvation Army, or Broome County Humane Society as he was an avid animal lover. Arrangements and care entrusted to SAVAGE-DeMarco Funeral Service.
