Eric J. Swan, 66, from Binghamton, NY, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, known for his passion for classic movies, his writing, and his lectures. Eric is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Swan) Garcia; brother-in-law, Juan Garcia; sister-in-law, Barbara (Wilbur) Swan; nephew, Brian (Michelle) Swan; nieces, Renee (Swan) DeMarco and Kristina Garcia (Mike) Miller; and close friends, Elaine Casella, Lance, and Patty Trotter. He was predeceased by his parents, Manford and Grace Swan, and his brother, Philip Swan. Eric was a dedicated member of Binghamton Classic Films and a tax preparer for Jackson-Hewitt. He loved classic movies and was an avid writer and lecturer on them.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8, at the Lighthouse Community Church, 103 Main Street, Windsor, NY, from 1pm to 4pm, a luncheon following the service.
