Gary Marango

Gary R. Marango, 71 of Norwich NY died April 1, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. Gary is survived by; his wife of 50 Years, Marilyn Marango; his children, Jeremy Marango of Oxford, NY, Jennifer Marango of Norwich, NY, Janice (Travis) Smith of Norwich, NY, his grandchildren Dallas (Jacasa) Marango of Mount Upton, NY, Randi Marango of Norwich, NY, Tamika Marango of Norwich, NY; siblings, Roger Marango of Norwich, NY, Angelo (Joann) Marango Jr. of North Norwich, NY, Linda Pegg of Morris, NY, Mary Whaley of Norwich, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary was born five minutes before midnight on December 31, 1952 at Norwich Hospital to Angelo Marango Sr. and Virginia Marango. Gary attended Norwich Schools. He worked as a Farmer for various farms; having his own farm for many years. Gary spent a lot of time with his family. His favorite pastime was watching old westerns; his favorite being Gunsmoke.

Gary was predeceased by his parents Angelo and Virginia Marango and by his brother Louis Marango.  Per Gary’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
