Giacomo E. Bevacqua, 83 of Binghamton, passed away on December 10, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife, Assunta Bevacqua. He is survived by; his children, Amelia Laura Bevacqua (John Grogan) and Alejandro Bevacqua (Monica Bevacqua); his grandchildren, Paul Grogan, Adam Grogan, Sofia Bevacqua and Chloe Bevacqua; his sister, Filomena Prato and many nieces and nephews both in the United States and in Argentina. Until recently, Giacomo was an avid tennis player and enjoyed riding his bicycle. He loved classical music and literature. He could recite portions of Dante's Devine Comedy as well as those from Jose Hernandez' Martin Fierro.
A funeral service will be held on December 20, 2021 at 11:30 am at Mausoleum 2 in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his honor to WSKG, the Broome County Library or the Tri Cities Opera. COVID precautions will be observed.
