Grace E. (Gleason) Lane

Grace Elizabeth Lane passed away on 09/16/2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert on 11/06/2015.
She is survived by her children: Carrie, Rebecca, Robert, Michael and Christopher. Her grandchildren, Siena, Ian, Lauren and Eva and her beloved cats Tigger and Rose.
Grace will be remembered by her stories of growing up in Ohio, her time and travels while proudly serving our country in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict, crocheted blankets and her affinity for stray animals.
A graveside service with full military honors for both Veterans, Grace and Robert will be held 1 pm Friday October 29, 2021 at Woodlawn National Cemetery in Elmira.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Grace’s memory to the Chrohn’s and Colitis Foundation, your local SPCA or plant a memorial tree.
