Howard D. Henderson

Howard D. Henderson, 99, a life long resident of  Conklin NY joined his wife of 45 years, Ruth Frederick Henderson, and his daughter Donette Henderson  Hoxsie in heaven  on March 17, 2026. He is survived by; two daughters and two sons-in-law,  Laurie Henderson and Mark Wentka, Jodie and Fran Bealo; a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Diana Henderson, all of Conklin NY. His  grandchildren, Kori and Joel Hoxsie, Andrew Cramer, Ryan and Matt Bealo, Michaela and Christopher Henderson Jr.. Nine great grandchildren and many  nieces, nephews, cousins and  friends.Howard was a member of Conklin Presbyterian Church, a retired U.S. Postmaster.  He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was the former Commander of the Conklin American Legion.

Memorial services will be held 1pm Saturday April 4, 2026 at Conklin Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Steven Chastain officiating.  The family will welcome friends at the Church from 11am until the time of service at 1pm.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in the family plot at Conklin Cemetery.  Please express condolences online at www.SavageFS.com.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to  the Conklin Volunteer Fire Department, 1034 Conklin Rd., Conklin, N.Y. 13748.  Full obituary also at www.TiersNews.com.
