Ila Jean Cornell

Ila Jean Cornell, 69, of Binghamton, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 peacefully in her sleep.  She is survived by: her children, daughter, Raquel/Zack Cornell, son, John Cornell, daughter, Kia Brown, son, Vince Brown, son, Chris Schrier, son, Shawn Schrier, and son, Aaron Bell; twelve grandchildren; and many many friends.  She rejoins her dear children and siblings who have gone before her, and is no doubt finally able to meet her idol, Elvis Presley.  She was a strong career woman, a great nurse, and an amazing mother and friend to many in the community.  She will be remembered for her fierce independence and fiery wit, and will always be well loved and dearly missed.
