James P. Harris

James Patrick Harris, "Jim" passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 62 after a brief illness.  He was predeceased by his parents Milton and Geraldine Harris.  He is survived by his children Shannon (Jim) Wood, Michael Chier and Dillion Fuller; granddaughter Kendelle Schmidtt; brother Mark Harris and sister Carolyn (Mike) Orzelek; nieces Keri Hull and Audrey Orzelek; nephews Cory Jones and Michael Orzelek; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Jim was born in Binghamton, NY.  He graduated from Chenango Valley High School.  He was employed by Nielsen Corporation and was a well respected employee.

Jim loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, cookouts, and especially bonfires listening to old rock and roll music.  He enjoyed family vacations and playing board games, and enjoyed spending time with his close friends.  Hobbies included building furniture, loved watching football with his favorite team being the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be greatly missed.
