Jean Herron

Jean (Brannen) Herron, 84, of Bainbridge passed away on April 2, 2025 after a brief illness. Born on April 8, 1940, to Lewis Walter Brannen and Helen (Williams) Brannen, she graduated from Fleischmanns High School as valedictorian in three years, then married her true love, William ("Bill") Herron.  

Over the next 68 years together, they raised their three children—Bill, Chris, and Jamie—while also being "Ma and Pa" to countless nieces, nephews, neighbors, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Jean leaves the world far better for having been in it.  

A celebration of life will be held on her and Bill's 68th anniversary, July 4th, at the swim park in Bainbridge, NY.
