Joan Fassett

Joan F. Fassett, 84, of Conklin passed away peacefully December 13, 2025.  She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Lyle Fassett.  She is survived by her children Lynette Menichelli (Fred), Wendy Joseph (Ron), and Lyle Robert Fassett (Cheryl).  She is survived by her siblings Marcia, Judy, Lois, and sister-in-law Lora.  She was predeceased by her parents Lyle and Helyn Antisdel, brother Leigh Antisdel , and her father in law and mother in law Levo and Gladys Fassett . She was also predeceased by her brothers in law and sisters in law.   She is survived by her sister-in -law Shirley   She is survived by her four grandchildren Andrew, Amanda, Susquehanna and Sophia.  She is also survived by four great grandchildren Shannon, Aubrey, Dominic, and Anita along with many nieces and nephews.  

Joan spent 34 years as the office manager of Tri Cities Temperature Control.  She was a long time member of Broome County  PHCC.  Along with her husband Lyle they traveled various places in their motor home including Chincoteague, Virginia and Dover Speedway.  Joan is survived by her three cats Charlotte, Duncan, and Olivia whom she loved dearly.  

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Savage-DeMarco Funeral Service, 338–344 Conklin Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903, with Rev. Msgr. Michael Meagher officiating. The family will welcome friends from 1:30  p.m. until the beginning of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joan’s name to the Broome County Humane Society.
