John H. Bennett

John H. Bennett, 78, of Binghamton went to be with our Lord on April 30, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents, Edwin and Dorothy as well as three brothers, Edwin, Kenneth, and George. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Diane and daughters Marjorie and Leigh (Mick), 7 grandchildren, Allison, Collin, Lindsay (Jake), Holly (Billy), Kate (Kyle), Jonathan (Ashli), and Emily. Four great-grandchildren, Austin, Rolan, Adam, and Isabella. He is also survived by his brothers Robert and Roger, and 2 sisters Martha and Barbara. He had a special relationship with his brother and sister in law Gary and Barbara, and numerous nieces and nephews, who were all special to him.
John loved spending his time creating gifts for his family in his workshop. He spent his life devoted to God and his growing family; who he loved selflessly. John can be best remembered for his quick wit and quirky sense of humor and love of laughter.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
