June Dickson

June (Jane) Dickson, 88, Binghamton formerly of Bainbridge, NY passed away peacefully at Elizabeth Church Manor on Sunday September 4th, 2022.  June rejoins her husband Robert, they very much enjoyed 58 years together until his passing in 2009; also predeceased by her brother, Gilbert.  She is survived by; her children, Theresa Taite(Steven), Patricia Langerhans (Paul), Debra Dickson, Cathleen Dickson, Pamela Staruck (Jamie), Robert Dickson (Naomi) and James Dickson (Penny); 13 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Ellen Gray Rohner, Betty Cox, Dutchie Gray, and Edward Gray; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  June grew up in Delaware County and moved as a bride to the family farm in Elk Creek, Schenevus, NY. She made many good friends there over the years and lived in Elk Creek until she moved to Bainbridge NY, to be closer to her son. She enjoyed many hobbies including reading, puzzles, painting, acting in area plays, gardening, crocheting and quilting. June was a card shark and loved all card games. She enjoyed traveling in their motor home and loved her second home in Silver Springs, Florida. She will be missed by all but is at peace again with Robert.
