Kathryn is survived by; her husband of 61 years, Peter (They quietly held hands sharing memories for their anniversary Friday May 13, 2022); her children, Karen M. (David) Johns, Peter J. Basti, Anthony P. Basti, and Paul N. (Brenda) Basti; grandchildren, Danielle Johns / Denman Dewey, Steven (Ashley) Johns, and Peter Sebastián Basti.; her sisters & brothers in law, Mary Fiacco, Nicki Giorgio, Carmie Hranek, Phil Schrader, Fran Basti, & Anita/Bennie Tino; her dear God-children, niece, Linda Liparulo Franklin-Daly; nephews, Paul Fiacco, and Joseph Dadamio Jr.; as well as over 100 nieces and nephews who all loved and were loved deeply by their Aunt Katy.  Kathryn had many loves, one of which was helping her community and church parish. Being involved in many fundraising and charity events including but not limited too, St.

Mary's alter rosary, soup kitchen, Lenten dinners and the Bazaar. She was a long time active member of the Stella Argenta lodge 487. Helping host many spaghetti dinners and Italian Feast Days. She loved her community and her culture and passed that on to everyone she met. Her other love was the New York Yankees, and in some of her final moments she heard them win while her family cheered them on. She was a woman that knew what she wanted, she was never afraid to speak up and let you know how she felt. She loved hard, in her own way, and everyone around her could feel it one way or another.
