Kay Moore

Kay Moore, 87, of Port Dickinson, NY, passed away peacefully at home on September 25th, 2021.  Kay was born on May 1st, 1934 to Lyle and Sarah Carlson in Virginia, MN. Kay was predeceased by; her parents, Lyle and Sarah Carlson; sisters, Joyce White and Gretchen Parker; brothers, Keith Carlson, Kenny Carlson, and Ralph Carlson. She is survived by; her loving husband, Newton (Bill) Moore; daughters, Deborah & David Williamson; Kathryn & Michael Smith, Linda & Dennis Nixon; grandchildren, Ryan & Tiffany Mote; Aaron & Deanna Mote; Cameron & Joesph Carreon; Kate & Jon Birmingham; Nicholas & Angela Nixon; Amanda Dunlap; Michael & Emily Wylie; Shannon & Joshua Gatto; her 17 great-grandchildren, Caden, Jonah, Aurora, Austin, Emmaus, Jackson, Tucker, Elizabeth, Andrew, Jack, Ava, Emma, Hannah, Sarah, Rebecca, Olivia and Harper; her sister Janice Ricordati; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Early on and after many family moves she settled and grew up in San Bernardino, CA. Kay graduated from San Bernardino High School in 1952.  In 1982 she met the love of her life, Newton (Bill) Moore. They married on May 13th, 1983. Kay enjoyed spending her time interacting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved making intricate, meaningful gifts for her family members by hand, sewing, and crafting.  

A Family celebration of life will be held 1 pm Saturday October 2, 2021 at Savage-Demarco Funeral Service 338-344 Conklin Ave Binghamton, NY 13903.  The family will welcome friends from 12:30 pm until the time of service. Please express condolences online at www.SavageFS.com.
