Obituary

Lorin Scot Beckley, 57, loving husband and father, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 27th, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. He was predeceased by; his father, J Edgar Beckley III; and his father-in-law Eivind Lunde. Lorin is survived by; his loving wife, Kirsten; son Jared; mother Bonnie; mother-in-law June Lunde; sister-in-law Karyn Lunde (Gary); brothers, Brent (Sue), and Joel (Dawn). Lorin built many relationships through his business, Beckley Construction. His greatest love, besides Yankees baseball, was watching Jared play baseball for Windsor High School and Keuka College. He was blessed to watch Jared's best pitching in Florida the week before his passing. The family will welcome friends on Friday, March 31st, 2pm, with a celebration of life immediately following at Bethel Baptist Church, 300 North Jensen Road, Vestal (https://www.youtube.com/@bethelbaptistvestal/streams). Please express condolences at www.SavageFS.com. In lieu of flowers, consider making contributions to Jared’s education for an MBA at Rochester Institute of Technology, starting this fall. Jared will graduate from Keuka College with a double major in Applied Math and Finance, and Management in 3 years, for which his Dad was incredibly proud.
