Marion Vasconi

Marion Vasconi, 75, of Endicott, NY passed away on October 27, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Marion was predeceased by; her parents, Robert Dykeman, Sr & Dorothy Dykeman; her brother, Robert Dykeman, Jr. She is survived by; her children, Karla(Jeff) Dotts, John Vasconi, Roberta (Corey) Smith, and Thomas Vasconi; her grandchildren: Eric, Kylie, Rejina, Kalen, and Abbigail;  sister, Pam (Dave) Klingman; sister-in-law, Pat Dykeman, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marion graduated from Union Endicott High School. She worked in manufacturing at Chenango Industries, IBM, and ultimately retired from EIT in Endicott. Marion was a skilled knitter and crocheter, enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, enjoyed anything chocolate, and was kind to all she encountered.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at11:30am Monday, November 6, 2023 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1 Aquinas St, Binghamton, NY 13905 with Msgr. Putano officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11am until the start of Mass. Burial will be private at the family plot in East Newark Cemetery, Newark Valley NY. Condolences may be expressed at www.SavageFS.com. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a gift to the UHS Foundation, 10-42 Mitchell Ave, Binghamton, NY, Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Vestal Rd, Vestal, NY 13850 or choose to do something kind for someone in memory of Marion. Arrangements entrusted to SAVAGE-DeMarco Funeral Service.
