Melissa Church

Melissa Church, 60, of Port Crane, NY, passed away on April 21st, 2024. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Melissa Church our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was predeceased by; the love of her life and husband, James Church, son, James J Church, and her father, John M Fassett. Melissa is survived by; daughter, Kristen Snyder; son, John E Fassett, 3 cherished grandsons, Jacob, Lucas and Nehemiah; her mother, Linda Simonds; siblings, Dan (Margaret) Fassett, David (Tina) Fassett, Lori (Murray) Pratt, and Joe Fassett; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and Auntie M.

 Melissa always saw the good in people and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She had a contagious smile and sparkling eyes that we all adored. Her family was so important to her, and her grandchildren were the loves of her life. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held May 11th at 1:00 held at Seebers Tavern located in Smithville Flats, NY. A private burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.savagefs.com. Arrangements were entrusted to Savage-DeMarco Funeral Service.
