On Saturday November 27th, Nikki Lord passed away in Wilson Hospital of a brief illness. She was 50 years young. Nikki is survived by her husband Daniel of Binghamton; her daughter Alexandria and her boyfriend Dustin Peck of Binghamton; her sister Gina Phillibotte and her husband Ray, of Goffstown, NH and nephew Jason Phillibotte and his wife Jessica of Walnutport, PA and niece Stefanie Brinn and her husband Matt of Manchester, NH. Nikki was preceded in death by her father, A. Roland Belisle and Irene Berlinguette. Nikki was born on November 21, 1971 in Manchester, NH. Nikki graduated from Manchester Memorial High School and attended the Barbazon School of Modeling in Manchester, NH. Nikki married Daniel in 1992. They met while Daniel was working in her father’s music school. They worked together at Belisle Music for 3 years and then decided to open their own music store. A few years later, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter Alexandria. In 2000, they bought a house in Binghamton and moved the business there and eventually to their home.
Nikki was known by all who came to know her as a cheerful bright light with an infectious smile and personality to match. When you first met Nikki, you were made at ease and it seemed that you knew her forever. Nikki played piano and sang. She loved making crafts, drawing, cooking and music – especially Frank Sinatra or Christmas music. Nikki also loved God and Jesus and she had a remarkable relationship with them. Nikki also enjoyed life. A Celebration of Life for Nikki is scheduled for Saturday December 4th at 2:00 PM at West Corners Baptist Church, 302 Duke Street, Endicott, NY 13760.
