Renee was loved by all of those who crossed paths with her - she was creative, funny, caring, and always had the biggest smile to share. Renee truly touched and inspired so many people that came into contact with her. She carried out her dream of always wanting to be a mother by adopting her two sons with her partner, Trevor. Being their mother was her greatest joy and gave her such strength and meaning for life. Anyone who knew her, knew the love she had for her dogs Selma, Frankie, and Winnie. She found ways to make old things beautiful and had an eye for interior design. She will truly be missed by many. Renee fought a sixteen yearlong battle with Scleroderma with bravery, perseverance, and immense strength right up until the end. She demonstrated what it meant to be relentlessly optimistic.
Her family would like to show gratitude and appreciation to Renee’s healthcare team that cared for her over the years, especially the last few months. Specifically, P.A. Colleen Metz, Strong Memorial ICU, HCR Wound Care, and her caregivers, Judy, and Cordella, who she thought of as family.
At Renee’s request, there will not be a public service but instead request that you share your stories at www.SavageFS.com. Calvary Cemetery is where she is laid to rest beside her husband, Aldo Rossi Jr. In lieu of donations, please consider donating to the National Scleroderma Foundation which can be found at national.scleroderma.org. Arrangements were entrusted to SAVAGE-DeMarco Funeral Service - Binghamton.
