Robert J. Crampton

Robert Crampton, 79, of Binghamton NY, passed away on April 13th. 
Robert was born on December 7th 1941. He was a proud Marine Veteran. During his service he was stationed in Italy where he acted as a bodyguard for President Kennedy. Robert enjoy bingo and playing cards.  He was predeceased by his parents, Edythe (Backus) and Jack Crampton, brothers Jack Crampton and Gary Crampton, and sister Joyce Rollins-Williams.
He is survived by his children Bob (Annie) Weidman, Shane Crampton, Bobby Jo (Mark) McBride, Jerry (Lisa) Crampton, Bobbie (Adib) Sibley, Minetta (Stan) Regan and Helen (Kevin) Culver, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and his sisters Minetta (Bill) Schoch and Sylvia Pratt.
A Funeral Service will be held 5pm Tuesday April 20, 2021 at SAVAGE-DeMarco Funeral Service 338 Conklin Ave. Binghamton, NY, 13903.  The family will welcome friends from 3:30pm until the time of service. Condolences may be expressed online at www.SavageFS.com.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
