Seth Eric Wagoner, 19, formerly of Vestal. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Seth Eric Wagoner, beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world on December 16, 2024, at the age of 19. Seth was born on February 8, 2005, to Shawn and Eleanor Wagoner. He was a passionate young man, full of life and love, with an infectious energy that touched everyone he met. A dedicated Eagle Scout, Seth’s love for the outdoors was matched only by his adventurous spirit and generosity. Whether hiking in the mountains, camping under the stars, or helping others with his skills in construction, he was always ready to serve and make the world around him a better place. Seth was also a talented musician and guitarist, expressing his creativity through music that spoke to his love for Jesus. A student at Cedarville University, he was known for his sharp intellect, vibrant personality, and unwavering faith. Seth loved Jesus with all his heart, and his faith was the foundation of everything he did. Seth’s family meant the world to him. He was a loving brother to Caleb, Joshua, and Abigail, and cherished the bond he shared with his sisters, Jessica and Taylor, as well as his young niece, Kathryn, who had the privilege of knowing her uncle’s warm embrace. He is also survived by; his grandparents, Carol Updike, Diane Bagamary, Mike and Mary Lou Wagoner, and numerous extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.
A celebration of Seth’s life and funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday December 21st at Grace Point Church in Vestal, NY. The family will receive friends from 9am until the start of the service. Condolences may be expressed online at www.SavageFS.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Grace Point Church, Vestal or Cedarville University, both of which were dear to Seth’s heart. Though his time with us was far too short, Seth’s life was one of great meaning, and his legacy of love, joy, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.
