Steven Hamilton

Steven E. Hamilton, 63, of Binghamton.  His family is saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother on 18 April 2026. Steven was born on 29 December 1962 to Robert J Hamilton and Mary A (Hamilton) Ticknor. Steve is predeceased by; his father, Robert J. Hamilton; his stepfather, Douglas W. Ticknor; 4 Grandparents; 8 Uncles; 6 Aunts; and several cousins.  He is survived by; his Mother,  Mary; sisters, Dawn M. Rowe and Jennifer M. Kokesh; brother, Carl R. Hamilton; six Aunts; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, Holt and Hamilton cousins. He graduated from Chenango Forks High School and proudly joined the United States Navy.

Steve was a loving brother and devoted fan of the 49ers, Redskins, Nascar and his Hot wheels. He had love for his family, friends and animals. If you ever wanted to win trivia night on music and movies, he was the person to have on your team. 4:20, was the best time of day for him.  WWF & WWE will be missing their most devoted fan in the twin tiers.  His love of conversation, who did what and when? Loving to prove he was right was fun.   Even after losing part of his leg, he still loved to swim. He opened his home to his Mom and Stepdad, brother and friends who needed his help.

A Special THANK YOU goes out all who helped to make Steve's and Mom's lives easier. His unexpected passing will leave a hole in everyone's hearts.  There will be a Home Going Celebration later in the year to celebrate our favorite 49ers fans' life.  We will update here and on FB and on his book of memories.
