Timothy E. Lorson

Timothy E. Lorson, 84, of Vestal NY, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Memorial Day May 26, 2025.  He was predeceased by; his parents, Ralph and Marie Lorson; sister, Martha Lawson; half-sister, Marie Meyer , brother, Nicholas O.F.M. Conv. (Arden) Lorson.  He is survived by; his wife, Sharon that stood by his side for nearly 60 years; daughter and best friend, Christine Lorson; Granddaughter and best buddy, Jacey Breed; Nephew, Paul (Julie) Meyer, Brother-in-law, Mike Kipper; and Brother Ralph Lorson.

Tim started his working career at GE and retired from Lockheed Martin. One of his greatest joys in life was the time he served in the US Army in Germany from 1960 until honorably discharged in 1966. Two years ago he was able to attend the Twin Tiers Honor Flight Mission 15 where he finally got the recognition that he deserved. From his rough upbringing he never took credit for the smart successful man that he became.  Tim spent a lot of his time at the Vestal Elks Lodge trying to perfect the game of Quick Draw. He also enjoyed his time at any casino that he could get too.  He loved his cars almost as much as he loved his family. He kept a meticulous garage, and we always joked his cars were so clean you could eat off the undercarriage.  Tim will never be forgotten, he will live within our hearts. 

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Condolences may be expressed online at www.SavageFS.com.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his memory to the Veterans committee at the Vestal Elks Lodge 2508.  Arrangements were entrusted to SAVAGE-DeMarco Funeral Service.
