Marie C Lord

Marie C. Lord, 73, of Conklin, NY passed away peacefully at home April 22nd, 2024, surrounded by her family and friends. Born to Edward T Burke Sr and Margaret C Burke of Endwell October 25th, 1950. She attended Union Endicott High School class of 1970. She is predeceased by; her husband, Harry V Lord; and brother, Edward T (Virgie) Burke Jr . She is survived by; her daughter, Beth Ann (Lord) Cary (Harvey); and son, Brian (Sarah) Lord; her brothers, Timothy (Debbie) Burke, Steven (Leeann) Burke, David (Lisa) Burke. Great aunt Betty Nocciolino. Her grandchildren Christina Thomas, Matthew Cary (Taylor), Richard Lord, Jessica Preistley (Adam), Brian Lord (Briana), Stephenie Cary, and Thomas Cary; seven great-grandsons; and she had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews. She is also survived by her special family Liz, Tiffany and CJ Sabine who took great care of her and loved her as their own. The family wanted to extend a very special thank you to her guardian angels Bill and Sherman. She retired after 30 plus years as a CNA from Willow Point Nursing Home and also a Home Health Aide.  The family also wanted to extend a special thank you to Lourdes hospice staff for all the love and care that they provided. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Office For Aging or Breast Cancer Research. 

The family will welcome friends Friday, April 26, 2024 from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Savage-DeMarco Funeral Service 338-344 Conklin Ave Binghamton. The family will have private service.  She will be laid to rest with her husband Harry privately at Calvary Cemetery.
