I first met your Mom and Dad many years ago when we were all taking an exercise class at the Binghamton YMCA. We lost touch for many years until one day, as I was visiting my mother at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, I saw her and knew exactly who she was.

We renewed our friendship and I would see her all the time walking the halls or when I would visit with her in the apartment after Wendell passed away. She was such a kind lady and I loved talking to her. My husband passed away several years ago and one day Dorothy asked me if I was dating. When I told her no, she suggested I try on-line dating! We had a good laugh over that. I will miss seeing and talking to her.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I was sorry to see that your mother had passed; my Mom and Dad were friends of your parents. I remember they came to my mother's funeral service in 2010. On her (Joyce L'Hommedieu Schrader Taras) behalf, sincere condolences...
