Josephine (Hranek) Cornell, 94, of Chenango Bridge, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. She was predeceased by her son John A. Cornell, Jr., and her daughter Barbara Kline. She is survived by her one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Anita Cornell, five grandchildren,  Gregory (Missy) Kline, Jared (Charli) Cornell, Adam (Belinda) Cornell, Derek ( Natasha) Cornell, Lindsay (Shane) Petersen, also eight great grandchildren. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed helping others learn about god's purpose for a future earthly paradise, which was her resurrection hope.  A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 184 Castle Creek Road, Binghamton, NY at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
