Mary,

You taught me so much.......about endurance and perseverance in spite of the challenges of life......you embodied true charity and concern for others above your own problems and concerns. I am blest to have called you friend. You are greatly missed. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus!

My condolences to her family. May God grant you his comfort and peace.

Mary set an example of perseverance to all of us here at BOCES. She continued to work through her illness and always kept a smile on her face and was always ready to offer a humorous comment or kind word. I will miss her but I know she will be in heaven smiling down on us. May God Bless you, Mary Mecca!

We are so sorry for your loss. Mary was a wonderful person. We had a great time with her on bonus nights and many chats. It was so nice to meet her children on thursday. She talked of you often. We will miss her very much. Heaven has gained an angel. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My deepest condolences to Mary's family at this sad time. I worked at Broome-Tioga BOCES with Mary. She would greet everyone in the cafeteria line with a smile and a warm greeting. She was always friendly, despite her physical challenges. She shared a lot of stories from her past, especially when she worked for the priests. I will remember her fondly and pray the family finds peace.
In Sincere Sympathy,

To the Family of Mary---
She was a special blessing to me here at BOCES. I enjoyed conversing with Mary and making her laugh and smile. I wanted you to know that she will be missed by me, as well as many other people here who had the pleasure of seeing her on a daily basis.

I will always remember Mary as the sweet kind woman at the cash register in the BOCES staff cafeteria. Her kind words would make my day.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Mary. She was one of a kind. And how kind she was to anyone she came in contact with. Her love for culinary and helping kids was abundant. She was sharp, hardworking, caring, and encouraging. Even when she came to see me for help, she became the helper... eager to offer words of wisdom, recipes, and resources for others. She stayed positive and made the best of any situation. I will miss her and know that she touched so many...
