Gregory Scott Kent

Gregory Kent, 57, of Elmira NY passed away after a very short battle with cancer on February 29, 2024 surrounded by his family.   He was predeceased by his Mother, June Rogers. Surviving are his; daughter, Victoria Kent (Torry); her mother, Paula VanDuzer; his sons, Michael Kent and Matthew Kent.; their mother, Penny Kent; grandchildren, Riley and Emmitt Stroble; his Father, Gary Kent (Tina); his brother, Jeff Kent; and Sister, Laurie Miller Schmidt (Doug). He had many loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Greg was an avid Nascar fan, followed the Yankees, and loved music.  He loved to make people laugh, could quote tons of movies,  and had a funny quip for all occasions.   He will be greatly missed by all!  Please express condolences online at SavageFS.com. The family will be holding a celebration of life per his wishes on his birthday this summer at a local park to be announced later.
